“Bell Review imminent”
The Church of England has said publication of a report into a sexual abuse scandal is imminent.
In October 2015, an unnamed victim was paid £15.000 and given an apology after she claimed the wartime Bishop of Chichester George Bell molested her.
The victim said she was just five when the abuse started.
A report into the Church’s handling of the matter was commissioned earlier this year and completed in early October.
it is now at the stage of responding with feedback from those who contributed, and is expected within weeks.
